Thing’s to know

Troubleshooting Guide

Our eSIM generally works with no issues, however if you encounter any issues with the eSIM, please check the following:

1. You must be connected to Wi-Fi when scanning the eSIM
2. Turn off any other SIM and any VPN (if applicable), your phone also must also not be on airplane mode
3. Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
4. Turn on mobile data and wait at least 5-10 minutes for activation – do NOT change any settings 
5. APN should be “mobile.three.com.hk” (if it is not automatic)
6. Network operator should be automatically selected but if it isn’t please select manually to the supported network below. 
7. Restart your phone (off / on) or turn airplane mode on / off
8. If you experience drop outs please turn on / off the eSIM line
9. Please check your mobile network settings to make sure the eSIM was installed (occasionally it may looked like the eSIM did not install successfully however it may already be installed on your phone)
10. Please do not delete the eSIM, if you accidentally deleted the SIM there will be a $10 AUD charge imposed by the operator to reset the QR code and may take up to 24 hours.

This is a 3 Hong Kong prepaid eSIM and comes with Hong Kong (+852) phone number. The eSIM is rechargeable and can be topped up with additional packages. This package does not include any minutes or SMS allowance.

The starting package includes 12GB of General data, plus 5GB of Social data usable for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Line and WeChat apps. If Social data balance is exhausted these apps will continue to work using the General data allowance.

Simply scan the QR code to download and use the eSIM.  

Package validity will start upon scanning the QR code. The eSIM must be activated within 6 months from purchase.

Full data speeds - no daily limits, no throttling. Mobile hotspot is supported.

The eSIM will automatically connect to a major local mobile network in eligible countries with 4G LTE speeds.

eSIM QR code along with the instruction will be sent via email instantly (please check your junk/spam email). Please note if you purchase a physical SIM in the same order, the eSIM will need to be sent manually (i.e. NOT instant), we recommend buying the eSIM separately.
